WHERE IS THE EVENT HELD?
The Summit takes place in Sun Valley, Idaho. Our basecamp is the iconic Sun Valley Lodge, with
outdoor activities taking place in the surrounding mountains.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Fly into Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, ID, which is just 20 minutes from the
resort. Alternatively, Boise Airport (BOI) is a 2.5-hour drive and offers more flight options.
We recommend arranging a rental car or shuttle from BOI if you choose that route. Shuttles from
SUN are often provided by the hotel—please check your booking confirmation.
WHAT ARE THE DATES?
September 18th - 20th, 2026. Arrive by 4 PM on Friday, Sept 18th. Departures can be scheduled
for after 2 PM on Sunday, Sept 20th.
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
You should be comfortable walking 3-5 miles at moderate inclines. We are at altitude (~6,000ft
base, hiking up to ~8,000ft+). If you can walk 18 holes of golf carrying your bag, you are fit
enough. We will have multiple pace groups to accommodate different fitness levels. This is a
challenge, but it is not a race.
WHAT GEAR DO I NEED?
- broken-in hiking boots (do not bring brand new boots)
- Day pack (20-30L)
- Water reservoir (CamelBak/bladder recommended) or 2L+ water bottles
- Layers: Moisture-wicking base layers, insulating mid-layer (fleece/puffer), and a waterproof hard shell jacket. Weather changes fast.
- Sun protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
- Notebook and pen.
HOW DO I HANDLE THE ALTITUDE?
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Start drinking extra water 2-3 days before you arrive. Limit alcohol
consumption, especially on the first night. We will have electrolytes available. Listen to your
body and pace yourself.
IS ACCOMMODATION INCLUDED?
The ticket price covers the event programming, meals, and activities. Accommodation at the Sun
Valley Lodge is booked separately, but we have secured a room block at a preferred rate. You
will receive booking instructions upon registration.
I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS. CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
Yes. Our culinary team is prepared for Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Paleo diets. You will
be asked for specific dietary needs during the booking process.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Tickets are non-refundable but transferable up to 30 days before the event. If you cannot
attend, you may transfer your spot to another qualified candidate, subject to approval.
WILL I HAVE CELL SERVICE?
Basecamp (Lodge) has strong WiFi and cell service. However, on the trails and during workshops,
we strongly encourage "Airplane Mode" or leaving devices behind to maximize focus and
connection. Some trail areas will have spotty or no coverage.
